Happy Birthday Steve!!

Steve is now officially 56 years old. Since none of the family was here, I wanted to make it special. Spoiling him a little, on his birthday is okay. First, coffee and donuts in bed. Next, special breakfast. We then went out for lunch to Barton Grange. We enjoy it because we can look out at the creek, the wild flowers and beautiful countryside.
In the evening, we had Les and Edna over for tea, with a birthday cake. Look at my husband's shirt. Can you see what it says? I was amazed that I could find this shirt in the town of Garstang.

Rev. Steve preaching in Knowle Green
Sunday morning, June 20, 2010, Steve, Sue and Jay drove to Knowle Green and intended to be a blessing to this small town congregation, but in actual fact, they also were a blessing to us.

Children's Service Saturday (June 12, 2010)
Saturday morning, 11 a.m. the choir from N. California/East Texas blessed us with their superb singing, a capella. St. David's church had the privilege to provide hospitality to them. The respectful manor of all the students captured the hearts of those in attendance.
In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to hear from the St. George's Church in Blackburn, their Sunday School children (and teachers). There's a small portion in the video below.
