Church Council, Dallas, Texas

The General Council of the REC (Reformed Episcopal Church) may be all about reports and motions, but it definitely is a place to rekindle relationships with ministers with the same ups and downs in ministry. Below you see Steve speaking with a minister from British Columbia,
Canada and from Pagosa Springs, Colorado. These men below have become long time friends. The one on the left are former students from Phoenix, AZ and Pagosa Springs, CO. The center photo below, pictures Bishop Gerhard Meyer from Germany, Bishop Hunt, Southern Diocese, England and Bishop Fenwick from the Northern Diocese, in England. The far right photo, pictures Bishop Grote from the Diocese of Mid-America and Bishop Riches, Presiding Bishop of the REC.

These men all desire to see God's work progress in their areas. We continue to believe God's plan, has and will make us instruments in His Hands for the furtherance of His Kingdom.

Grandpa's Busy Life!!

Grandpa does not have a dull moment with three of his grandchildren, Ella, Wyatt and the newest addition, Juliet!!
Juliet is observing her Grandpa's beard, wondering what all that stuff is on his face!! Or is she looking at the ceiling fan? On the other hand, Ella and Wyatt look forward to pushing Grandpa down the slide at the park.

Wearing Grandpa's hat is not an easy for Ella or Wyatt. Their heads are just not as big as Grandpa's. Does Grandpa love his time with each of his grandchildren? Do you have to twist his arm to have time with them? Well, I would imagine you get the answer from the photos. Enjoy!!!

The Free Church of England, the diocese of the north and the diocese of the south, congregated in Swanwick, which is located in Derbyshire. Samuel and Bishop Gerhard Meyer from Germany were present. Also
pictured next to Steve is Bishop Powell from the Southern Diocese. Bishop John Maclean and Betty, his wife, stand with Samuel. They reside in Morecombe, near Lancaster.

Celebration at St. David's

Bringing a family to church where baptism helps many realize the importance of raising children in the ways of the Lord!!

Family!!

Little Juliet was 3 weeks old when her cousin, Amelie, was born. Amelie was born May 16, 2011, at 6 lbs. 13 oz. For being just 3 weeks apart, you can definitely see the size difference in age.
Ella, Wyatt and Juliet will be great friends with their cousin Amelie growing up.
Ella enjoys also, holding her little sister Juliet.

Getting Ready for Church!!

Anyone that has 3 or more children, know that getting ready for church takes more time with three little ones. BUT you know this is a good foundation for them. Hearing the stories they tell, coming out of their Sunday school classes are definitely precious memories.

Grandchildren are the Best!

This past month, these are the little munchkins that I've been having fun with. Wyatt (below), who is 21 months, is all boy and
loves to get into whatever he's not to get into. Ella (below) who is 3 1/2 years old,
loves to have her toenails and fingernails painted. Above is Juliet Annaleigh Wills. She was 8 lbs 8oz and 20 1/4 " long, born April 26, 2011 at 2:25 p.m. Both Ella, Wyatt and parents are adjusting to having 5 in the household. Grandma
Sue, on the other hand, has been enjoying the time with the grandchildren and children (adjusting too!!). Ron and Shannon have had the opportunity to go out on a date night, which I am happy for them to be able to do that. Ella and Wyatt have gone with me, several times to the park. We slide down the slide and climb up the bars. Yep!! You're right!! Grandma gets tired!! Oh yeah, so do Ella and Wyatt!!
"THERE'S MORE TO COME!!!!"
