It was the first time, in a long while, I sang, "For those tears I died!"
Due to the cooler temperatures in England, during the service I wear my fancy pink slippers!!!! OK!! It's a Sue Rutt thing!! At least the older English people like it, as they think I feel right at home with them. My hubby just chuckles!!
I thought I threw those slippers away!
ReplyDeleteSue/Steve: Great photo! I can see how the slippers would be appealing to the more mature members of the congregation. They have a certain 50+ (age group) character that speaks volumes for practicality over fashion (no offense). As we get older, we undoubtedly become less concerned about the particular (look - remember platform shoes!!! What were we thinking!!?!?) Blessings upon you both!
ReplyDeleteWOW - pink slippers! You're a true Rutt/Sederstram.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sharon, those slippers cause me to reflect upon the pink-slipper ethos of the Rutt/Sederstram legacy.
